In the ongoing process of learning about how to grow things, I run into some great resources. The VUF website is a good place to share them, so I'm adding this page. I hope it becomes a resource for you. - Cathy W.
COMPANION PLANTING CHEAT SHEET
Companion planting has been working very well for us this year - We still have lettuce that hasn't bolted because it is shaded by the trellised peas. The onions and petunias among the broccoli are keeping everything healthy. The sunflowers are sucking in the beetles that have been eating other plants. Plus, the beds with companion planting look the most beautiful! Click on the link above for a graphic I like a lot - it's set up as webs of vegetables that grow well together - much easier to remember than a list, but it does NOT include flowers, which make a big difference in the health of any garden, as well as making it more eye-appealing.
